Some galleries show a clear preference for unconventional art, an art form that many people wouldn’t call art at all, while others defend it, because, when all is said and done, what is art?
Something that evokes, transmits, inspires, questions, suggests, doubts, accuses. It could be an electrical cable that’s plugged into itself or some incoherent drawings on white walls. It could be an ink sketch or a light installation. Generally speaking, it’s something with which the creator wants to say something but which the observer may interpret in quite a different way.
