An Army Of Crystallized Thoughts

The owners of wine cellars used the term vintage to refer to wine from their best harvests. And the fashion world has taken the term to refer to a personal style of an antique quality, where elements from the past, from different eras post 1900 are mixed eclectically.

The peak of this aesthetic has been heightened by fashion icons like Dita Von Teese, Rachel Zoe or even the Spanish Eloisa Bercerro…

Years ago, it would have been unthinkable that a vintage garment could hold more value than something more up-to-date, but the type of material, its historical weight, details and its style have turned it into an exclusive product.

Some celebrities have opted for this style, taking it to the red carpet, as done recently Coco Rocha, posing for Gala Met with a vintage Givenchy outfit that belonged to Elisabeth Taylor.

There are many shops that resort to selling these antique luxury garments, but we’d like to point out a jewel among them, Antoniette, a small shop located in the heart of Brooklyn where you can find real treasures.

César Pesquera has been commissioned to film a promotional video intended as an experimental exposé on the power of mind over matter, this piece uses telekinesis to tell the story of a woman (Daryna Aslanova) dressed in vintage garments and styled with a modern point of elegance. The timelessness of her beauty, shot amid the ethereal imagery of Manhattan and Brooklyn, provoke a sullen sense of purpose and connection between the physical and the metaphysical, the temporal and eternal.
